The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Acclaimed young adult author and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A representative for the firm said: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of questionable actions towards female individuals.
The publisher did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
